EMPLOYEE:  To calculate the average number of yearly people employed, these guidelines shall be followed:
Employee includes partners, active owners, manager, etc.  Two part-time or seasonal employees equal one full-time employee. 

PROFESSIONALS:  Add $20 for each additional professional listed (architect, attorney, certified public accountant, chiropractor, dentist, doctor, engineer, veterinarian).

INSURANCE, INVESTMENT AND REAL ESTATE:  Add $20 for each insurance agent, real estate agent and investment broker.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIPS:  $125 investment for individuals not directly engaged in business (clergy, educators, government employees, elected officials, farmers, retired persons), nonprofit and civic organizations with no earned income.

ASSOCIATION FEE:  An additional fee of $25 will be added to new or reinstated memberships.

TAX DEDUCTION:  Membership investments may be tax deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense.  Investments are not a charitable tax deduction for income tax purposes.  The Chamber is not a charity, but serves as an advocate organization for area businesses. 

TERMS OF MEMBERSHIP:  Membership is payable in advance and automatically renews unless the Chamber is notified.

MEMBERSHIP INVOICE:  Membership invoices are due upon receipt.
